During this period, the Pakistan Government purchased five (5) 1049 Super Constellations and received T-33 Trainer. Through these years Mr.Aziz Jamall had the opportunity to assist not only in the sale of equipment, but together with his father assisted Lockheed and the Government of Pakistan to start a new international airline, later to be known as PIA.

Aziz Jamall was appointed in his individual capacity as Representative of Lockheed Aircraft Corporation during the latter part of 1958, after his father’s death.

From early 1959 he had independently expanded his own activities in the aviation field, and in 1961 was appointed Boeing’s Corporate Consultant. Probably one of the very few, who represented two leading aircraft manufacturers simultaneously for over 20 years.

There was a steady growth in the aviation field and Mr. Aziz Jamall’s own activities expanded until 1967 when it was necessary to incorporate the activities, and for deeper penetration into the aviation opportunities in Pakistan it required the formation of a Private Limited Company, hence in 1967 the business of Mr. Aziz Jamall was absorbed in a private family-owned Corporation “A.R.O. Limited”.

With Mr. Aziz Jamall at the helm as Director & General Manager, A.R.O. Limited continued to grow and expand. ARO represented and was Consultant to a number of manufacturers and suppliers of products/services for the aviation industry, both in the commercial as well as military fields. The company has been actively associated with Pakistan International Airlines (the national airline), Shaheen International, Air Blue, the Pakistan Air Force, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Pakistan Railways. Because of it’s past and continued contribution through positive assistance / coordination in planning an efficient airline as well as Air Force, the Company enjoys a good reputation with both PIA and PAF.
